Editorial and data policy
These standards govern the explanatory content and data presentations published by Belight Logistics.
Source selection
We prioritize official public records and clearly identified sources. Carrier discovery relies on US DOT and FMCSA registration information. The SCFI panel identifies its source in the interface. Terminal measurements are maintained separately and are labeled as Belight classifications rather than official terminal advisories.
Original value
Belight does not republish source pages as articles. We organize selected fields into a purpose-built search experience, calculate approximate geographic relationships, explain how classifications work, and state what the data cannot establish.
Updates and corrections
Dynamic sources can change after retrieval. Where available, the interface displays observation, update, or check dates. Material errors may be reported through our contact page. We review credible correction requests against the relevant public source and update the site when warranted.
Independence and advertising
Advertising, if displayed, does not determine carrier ranking, terminal classification, or editorial conclusions. Advertisers cannot purchase inclusion or preferred placement in Carrier Finder results. Ads are visually separate from site controls and substantive content.
AI-assisted features
An AI-assisted route note may summarize nearby destination candidates. It is a planning aid and does not replace professional routing, regulatory, safety, or commercial advice. Core carrier records and stated terminal thresholds remain independently described in the methodology.
Review responsibility
Belight Logistics is responsible for the site’s published explanations and presentation. Users remain responsible for verifying time-sensitive transportation decisions with official agencies and service providers.
